About SENSIT

SENSIT began in 1980 with a husband-and-wife team. Over the past 45 years we’ve grown from humble beginnings to a leading supplier of gas leak detectors to the North American natural gas industry.

Before entering a building where there is the potential for a lethal gas leak, gas utility personnel will pick up their SENSIT device and put their faith and life in the hands of our efforts. Our instruments may be the only way they will know that an area is potentially explosive or poisonous.

We also deploy environmental emissions monitors to detect and locate emissions of hazardous gases from industry to our air.  Members of our communities are regularly breathing dangerous levels of volatile organic chemicals, like benzene which is linked to leukemia and other blood cancers.

SENSIT has been built on providing trust to those who rely on our products to protect their life, property and our environment from hazardous gases.
