COVID-19 Update | June 15, 2020

Dear Valued Customer,

The impact of COVID-19 continues to evolve. I’m writing to provide an update on the steps taken to insure the health and safety of employees, customers, supply chain partners, and our community.

SENSIT’s internal COVID-19 Task Force meets periodically to review the latest developments, facts, and data. The team recommends courses of action and makes decisions, as necessary. In general, SENSIT follows the guidelines and recommendations of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), World Health Organization (WHO), the State of Indiana, and our parent company’s corporate guidance (Halma PLC).

SENSIT has enacted the following:

Employees have been provided with information about the basic steps to reduce spread, including hand washing and social distancing
Protocols are in place for any employee (or their household members) who becomes ill. These employees will be asked to stay home. To date, there have been no incidents of illness or spread at SENSIT
Employees’ temperatures are checked at the start of each shift, using a contactless stationary IR scanner. Protocols for screening visitors and delivery personnel have also been enacted
Physical changes to our work place have been made, including the installation of acrylic barriers, contactless actuation for dispensers and doors, new policies on common areas such as conference rooms, and changes to our air filtration system
Business travel continues to be locked down, except in cases of emergency, until further notice. All business travel requires my approval as well as the Halma Managing Director
SENSIT Technologies is cognizant of the role our products play in the work of first responders and emergency personnel in various industries. SENSIT’s inventory of products and components has been well-stocked since the beginning of this outbreak, and there has been no disruption in our supply chain throughout. In addition, SENSIT has not closed its operations whatsoever during the various phases of local and state-imposed executive orders. We continue to operate at full staff levels in production, quality, logistics and shipping. Those at risk are encouraged to stay at home. There are also several employees working from home due to the flexibility of the job. There has been no discernible loss of productivity from those select instances.

These are uncertain and unsettling times. SENSIT continues to focus on providing high quality products and service in a timely and safe manner to our clients. We will contact you with any notable updates.

From all of us at SENSIT Technologies, we wish you good health.

Thank you,

J. Scott Kleppe, President
